Day 5 - The Bible Is True

Promo    Day 1    Day 2     Day 3    Day 4    Day 5    Family Night

Children understood and respond to the gospel.  This is the story in Day 5.   To see more pictures of Day 5, click here.

Day 5 registration was 106 students.  It was great fun as we receive free t-shirts, take class photos and also group photos.   Many children were asking if VBS can extend.  A lot of kids didn't want Day 5 to end.  We are grateful to this church and all our church partners that VBS continues on.  Every Sunday, Destination Dig lives on.

Today, we learned about how the Bible is true and helps us tell others about Jesus.   The story is in Acts 8, where Philip had a chance to share with an Ethiopian. diplomat about Jesus.  This important man was reading the Old Testament Bible in the book of Isaiah.  Philip then asked him if he understood what he was reading about.   The Ethiopian responded no.  At this time, Philip spoke about how the bible spoke of Jesus, his death, and his resurrection.  The dignitary got so excited, and when they saw a body of water, this important person was baptized.

The Bible is real and it transforms lives.  It can transform the lives of a dignitary and it can change yours.  The bible says, For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because, it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."  (Acts 8:26-40).

The mission offering for Day 5 collected amounted to $281.93.

$622.09

Thank you for giving us a chance to share to you and your families about the wonderful grace of Jesus.  I hope to see you soon.
